Dinner: Salmon with asian glaze and green beans
Baked salmon, drizzled with a decadent asian sweet and salty glaze sauce, nested on a bed of rice with sauteed green beans.
Yum! Now here are the mouth watering details.
The salmon was sooo juicy and tender. Not overcooked. Slightly undercooked so it’s soft and moist.
My first time at making an asian glaze sauce. I combined different types of ingredients and tasted as I went. Adding more of so and so and such. I looked at multiple asian glaze sauce recipes online, and they were all soo different! So I chose specific ones from different recipes and made my own! It was sweet and it balanced well with the salt from the soy sauce.
The beans were sauteed in a garlic infused olive oil seasoned with salt and pepper. The rice was white rice.
I drizzled the sweet and salty asian glaze over the fish and rice.
Best. Sauce. I have. Ever. Made. From. SCRATCH! Ahhhhhh! So proud, so proud.
